How to take photos that support a claim

Take photos before you throw anything away.

Shoot these

• The outside of the box with the shipping label.
• The item laid flat in good light.
• A close-up of the damage or the difference.
• The label or tag, if the problem is size or model.

Tips

Use daylight, avoid heavy filters, and keep the item in the frame with a ruler or coin if size matters. Name your files with the order number so they are easy to find.
